The Islamorada area abounds with ship wrecks of all types. The most sought after are the Spanish treasure galleons. Other types include military ships and slave trade ships. Some of the Spanish treasure galleons in the Islamorada area include The San Pedro, The Herrera, The Tres Puentes, The San Francisco and others. If you are a good free diver and can handle diving to 10 or 20 feet we can take you to several ship wreck sites. If you want a personally guided tour, Carl Fismer, renown treasure hunter and story teller can be hired as guide for a reasonable fee (full day charters only).
