Arriving by Boat

From Miami follow the Intracoastal Waterway south until you pass Cotton Key on your left and red marker 80 on your right. A long sand bar protrudes in a southwesterly direction from Cotton Key, so stay in the ICW until you reach red marker 82 then turn left and head approximately 180 degrees. Ahead of you and slightly to your right, is a radio tower. About a half mile from 82, there is an unmarked shallow spot about 3-4 feet on your right. The distance from the ICW and the channel entrance is approximately 3 nm. The channel entrance to Little Basin is marked by a pair of day markers on each end. Once you exit the channel bear left for the World Wide Sportsman two story building adjacent to the thatched roof of the Islamorada Fish Company.
